Tactic

Tactics in WAR are abilities that you can buy with the points that you gain for leveling. They will be various things that make minute changes in you character. You will be able change them when you're not in combat. Tactics will allow you to specialize in certain ways pertaining to the situation, for example: Ironbreakers can use Ancestral Hatred which increases damage against Greenskins, while Black Orcs have access to I Hates Stunties which increases damage to Dwarfs.

Before entering into a battle, tactics are chosen and slotted into the Strategy bar according to what you feel will be most useful in the upcoming fight. Some tactics will take up more space on the strategy bar than others; presumably because they are more powerful. This gives a little more ability to make your character how you want it to be, and also adds more strategy. It also allows you to have, say, one tactics-load out that is tweaked for performance in solo play, and another that you switch to when you group up to perform a certain task.

Switching tactics load out is done through a simple drop down menu in the UI.

As you progress through the game, you gain many tactics abilities. They are divided into three sub-categories, General (Career Tactics), RvR (Renown Tactics) and PvE (Tome Tactics). The catch, however, is that you can only slot (use) a limited number at a time: 4 General, 2 RvR and 1 PvE.
