[edit] Featured articles on HammerWiki Featured articles are what HammerWiki editors believe to be the best articles in HammerWiki. Before being listed here, articles are reviewed at the featured article candidates page for accuracy, completeness, and style according to our featured article criteria (see below). Featured articles are designated with a small star on the top of the page.

[edit] What is a featured article?

A featured article exemplifies our very best work and features professional standards of writing and presentation. In addition to meeting the requirements for all HammerWiki articles, it generally has the following attributes:

1. It is well written, comprehensive, accurate, and stable.
   • (a) "Well written" means that the read is clear and understandable, but still good prose.
   • (b) "Comprehensive" means that the article is not missing information or details.
   • (c) "Accurate" means that the article is correct when compared to the game.
   • (d) "Stable" means that the article is not the subject of ongoing edit wars and that its content does not change significantly from day to day; vandalism reverts and improvements based on reviewers' suggestions do not apply.
2. The article follows our style and formatting, including:
   • (a) a concise lead paragraph that summarizes the entire topic
   • (b) proper use of headings and subheadings
3. It has images where appropriate; however, including images is not a prerequisite for a featured article.

Other important points to look at are:

• How interesting is the article?
• Does it fully cover the topic, and is it of reasonable length?
• Is the article easy to read, and is the information sensibly presented?
• Are the links all working, and preferable internal?
• Does it try to keep a neutral point of view, and is the information sourced where possible?
